Overcoming sizable obstacles helps us grow, and makes us a formidable opponent to life’s chaos. The least resistant path is not the answer for us, as this will come to haunt us. However, if we take on the bad news, hot and cold bosses, argumental spouses, or whatever challenge trip us up—we can become better, and stronger.
Fear is a big thing people deal with when they hit a problem. TD Jakes said if you can kill it your mind, you can kill those fears or whatever in your life. “If you’re still bitter in your head, you’ll be bitter in life.” This so true, as fear manifests in many ways, and the gateway is our mind. Face it and don’t fear the problem, overcome it.
Change the Mindset
Change the mindset and get strategic. Look at what you can control and what you can do if you received a bad diagnoses, or losing someone. Don’t become your worst enemy by running way into a corner. This corner grows into a pit. If you need help enlist a trusted friend to help you, so there is support, and a network to access. This will be helpful when dealing with challenges.
Facing issues will help you become stronger, and prepare you for bigger issues down the road. Learn that this won’t last forever, and happiness is still available. Allow yourself to rebound with resilience.
We need time away from people and places to process challenges. There is no rush in doing this, and stepping away will help. If you need to vent, cry, or unplug from the world—give yourself permission.

Being grateful will help boost the mood, and also build confidence.
Stop obsessing as we see that our thoughts can doom emotions. You don’t have to be a superhero, but refocus mental strength on things that are good. This will give you strong roots, where there will be endurance. Psych Central explains that "a stressmaster is always looking to find ways to regain control of his or her thoughts. This is the first step to making that leap from feeling out of control to being in control of your life.”
