Officials from South Korea have arrived in North Korea to meet Kim Jong Un for the first time in historic talks.
A delegation has arrived in capital Pyongyang for a two-day visit which is hoped will focus on improving relations between the two countries.

Also expected to be high on the agenda is how to resolve the current stand-off over North Korea’s nuclear programme.
The 10-member delegation is led by Moon Jae-in’s national security director Chung Eui-yong, who told reporters he will relay the South Korean president’s hopes for North Korean nuclear disarmament and permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula.
‘I will certainly deliver President Moon’s firm resolve to achieve a denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and genuine and permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula,’ Chung said.

He said he’ll push for ‘in-depth’ talks to find ways to help arrange the restart of dialogue between Pyongyang and Washington.
The trip is the first known high-level visit by South Korean officials to the North in about a decade and marks the first time South Korean officials have met with the Kim in person since he took power in 2011.
According to Moon’s office Kim is set to host a dinner for the delegation today, while the North’s state-run media reported the delegation had arrived but had no further details.
Afterwards the delegation will fly to the US where they will brief officials about the outcome of talks.
