Groom who got cold feet on his wedding day is dragged to ceremony in chains by fuming bride !

He hadn't even changed into his suit and was still wearing his casual clothes when he was spotted being dragged along by his hands.

The woman, on the other hand, is already wearing her traditional white gown and is said to have been waiting at the altar for him for quite some time.

In the unbelievable clip, the woman shouts: "Are you going to marry me or not? Come back with me."

The reluctant husband, who had apparently sneaked off without telling anyone, replies: "No, I won’t marry you. Let me go!"

A large crowd of confused onlookers watched in the unnamed Chinese city as the woman then physically pulls him along the road by the chains on his wrists.

The man is believed to have been taken back to the wedding venue, but reports carrying the shocking story did not say whether the unnamed pair did indeed tie the knot in the end.

A video of the bizarre incident - believed to have taken place at the end of last year - has been viewed millions of times since it was posted on Chinese social media site Sina Weibo.
