The Beatles crossed Abbey Road 50 years ago.
On August 8, 1969, photographer Iain Macmillan captured the iconic image of John, Paul, Ringo and George crossing Abbey Road outside the EMI Recording Studios in London where they recorded the 1969 album of the same name.
