Beverley Owen, the original actress of Marilyn in iconic cult classic The Munsters,
has died at the age of 81.
The actress’s death was confirmed by her daughter, Polly Stone, to TMZ.
Beverley was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in January 2017, and had kept it away from the public.
She passed away on 21 February due to the disease.

Her former co-star Butch Patrick also confirmed the news in a Facebook post dedicated to her.
He wrote: ‘Beautiful Beverley Owen has left us. What a sweet soul. I had the biggest crush on her. RIP Bev and thanks for your 13 memorable Marilyn Munster episodes.’
Beverley appeared in the first season of The Munsters, before leaving in order to marry and start a family with Jon Stone.
She was replaced on the show by Pat Priest.
