Jo Andres, wife of actor Steve Buscemi, quietly passed away last week,
according to TMZ.
Andres’ cause of death was not immediately known.
The Brooklynites were married for 30 years, and had son Lucian together in 1990.
According to E News, Andres was a filmmaker, choreographer and artist in her own right.
Andres passed away sometime last weekend, TMZ reported. The funeral service for the 65-year-old was held at their home on Tuesday and she was buried Wednesday in a biodegradable wicker casket.
Buscemi, 61—known for his off-beat characters in movies like “Fargo,” “Reservoir Dogs” and “The Big Lebowski”—is a former NYC firefighter who returned to his old job to help out right after 9/11. The FDNY reportedly came out to support him, blocking off his street when his wife’s casket was removed from their home.
Only 20 people attended the service, TMZ says, including Buscemi’s past co-stars John Turturro of “Lebowski” and his actress cousin Aida Turturro, of “The Sopranos.”
