Remembering the Space Shuttle Challenger tragedy, 33 years later

On January 28, 1986, tragedy struck the Space Shuttle Challenger at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, as it exploded shortly after liftoff. The explosion killed seven astronauts along with the first American civilian selected to go into space.
