Notorious ISIS executioner captured by Iraqi forces
Iraqi forces have captured one of ISIS’ most feared executioners, Abu Omer, nicknamed “White Beard,” who presided over dozens of killings in the terror group’s former stronghold of Mosul, according to reports.
Locals ratted out the barbaric jihadi kingpin, who was seen in several sick videos, including one from March 2015 in which three men accused of homosexuality and blasphemy are forced to their knees, the Sun reported.
The blindfolded men are seen kneeling in front of a crowd of people as a masked executioner stands by with a long, rusty blade.
An elderly man who appears to be Omer addresses the throng as the executioner positions his sword above the men’s heads in northern Iraq.
Other images show him inspecting a pile of rocks before a horrendous public stoning, according to the Sun.
More recent photographs published by AhlulBayt News Agency purportedly show Omer after he was collared as he is surrounded by armed officers who lead him to a police station.
His arrest was confirmed Friday.

Even though ISIS is believed to have been completely defeated in Iraq, some of its thugs remain in hideouts across the country.
The remaining terrorists even continue carrying out assaults on Iraqi troops and some prominent tribal figures, especially in Kirkuk province, according to the news agency.
The Iraqi military and US-led coalition succeeded in uprooting the terror group across the country, but the cost of victory is staggering.
Three years of war devastated much of northern and western Iraq. Baghdad estimates $100 billion is needed nationwide to rebuild.
Local leaders in Mosul, the biggest city held by ISIS, say that amount is needed to rehabilitate their city alone.
