Five Things You Should Never Do When Angry .

Anger Control

We all have moments of anger. It is a natural, yet negative emotion. But don’t let it overtake you. Here are five things you should never do when angry.
Resort to Violence
Raising your hand is more damaging than raising your voice. When anger turns violent you lose self control, hurting yourself and others. Showing that type of behavior escalates a situation.

Venting On Social Media
There’s nothing wrong with expressing yourself, but inviting everyone to comment on your emotions is not the best option. Responses may add fuel to the fire and make you feel worse. If you need to vent, take a walk, write in a journal, or privately talk to a close friend or family member that can help you calm down.

Go to Sleep
“Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.” – Ephesians 4:26
Here’s Biblical proof that going to sleep when furious is not good for the soul. Scientific studies agree. When going to sleep angry, you tend to hold on to those feelings, letting it simmer.

Suppress It
Not acknowledging your anger and stuffing it down, eventually leads to an explosion. Your emotions can consume you. Find a way to let it out without causing more harm

Drive
Add road rage to existing anger, and it could be a lethal combination. Getting behind the wheel when emotions are high is dangerous, causing distractions and accidents. Research shows that angry drivers get tunnel vision, losing focus on what’s around them.
