‘90s rapper Craig Mack dies at 46.

Craig Mack, the hit rapper from the 1990s, has died.
Mack, known for his song “Flava in Ya Ear,” passed away of natural causes on Monday night in South Carolina, reports USA Today. He was 46.
Mack, who hailed from Long Island, New York, grew to fame under Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment label. In 1994, Mack released his debut album, “Project: Funk da World,” which featured the single “Flava in Ya Ear.” The song was nominated for a Grammy in the best rap solo performance category.
In 1997, he released a sophomore album, “Operation: Get Down,” after leaving Bad Boy.
In recent years, Mack devoted his life to religion and even began working on a documentary about his life.
Many of Mack’s friends and hip-hop contemporaries paid tribute to him on social media.
DJ Funkmaster Flex said, “Rest in Peace! Good brother… #CraigMack… Alvin Toney love my brother…”
LL Cool J, who appeared on the “Flava in Ya Ear” remix, tweeted his own message, saying, “Rest in Power Craig. May the almighty embrace your soul & lift up your family and friends. It was a pleasure to know you & rock with you. You $tepped away from the game & did it your way… I always respected that. #RIPCraigMack.”
